Echo Chest

     

Echo Chest adds a special chest that automatically collects dropped items nearby, helping keep farms, mob grinders, mining areas, and busy bases clean without constant manual pickup. 📦

The mod is especially useful for automation-focused players: nearby item drops are pulled into the chest, while experience from defeated mobs can be stored inside instead of scattering across the floor. ✨

Stored experience can be turned into Bottles o’ Enchanting by supplying glass bottles, making mob farms and XP setups easier to manage. The chest also supports familiar Minecraft behaviours like hopper interaction and comparator output, so it fits naturally into redstone and storage systems. ⚙️

This mod is a compact quality-of-life addition that feels close to vanilla while adding a powerful new utility block. 🔧

If available for a mod, configuration is possible directly from in-game using the mod menu (requires Mod Menu by Prospector to be installed on Fabric).

For manual configuration using an external text editor all files are found at .minecraft/config, named as MOD_ID-client.toml, MOD_ID-common.toml, or MOD_ID-server.toml, depending on the type of config. Not all types might exist for a mod, if any at all.
